A. D. Reed has spent 25 years as a marketing specialist, 15 of them in national television advertising and marketing. He has worked extensively in theatre marketing, retail sales and advertising, and promotion for both nonprofit and for-profit organizations.

His portfolio includes NBC promotional brochures for international distribution of TV movies; redesign and production of all marketing materials (playbills, newsletters, brochures) for Asheville Community Theatre; research and publication of a 16-page “Study Guide To Arthur Miller’s The Crucible,” including historical material on the New England witch hunts, an overview of the McCarthy era, and a biographical sketch of the playwright; and complete redesign and monthly editing of the League of Women Voters newsletter, recognized statewide as the best local LWV publication in NC.
